• Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a strong background in inpatient cardiology to join an established and growing cardiovascular team
• Provide independent evaluation and management of acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Manage approximately 10–15 cardiology patients per day while collaborating closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ideal candidate will have strong EKG interpretation skills, critical care experience, and the ability to manage cardiac patients autonomously
• Excellent opportunity offering Monday–Friday daytime hours with no weekends or on-call responsibilities

Job Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive inpatient cardiology care for approximately 10–15 patients per day
• Perform detailed physical examinations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Interpret EKGs with a high level of proficiency
• Prescribe medications and coordinate ongoing cardiac management
• Perform and interpret cardiac stress testing; training is available if needed
• Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Facilitate referrals and coordinate continuity of care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and meet regulatory requirements
• Participate in hospital credentialing and insurance enrollment processes
Qualifications
• Active NJ DEA and CDS licenses, along with applicable certifications
• Minimum 2 years of cardiology experience as an NP or PA required
• RN experience alone does not qualify
• Demonstrated ability to independently evaluate and treat cardiac patients
• Strong EKG interpretation skills
• Prior critical care experience required
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
