We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locum electrophysiology/cardiology assignment in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative academic setting with a structured schedule and strong support team.
📅 Assignment Details
- Start Date: May 11, 2026
- Contract Length: Through August 31, 2026
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday (4x10s)
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexible)
- Coverage: Full-time (40 hours/week)

- Hospital Size: 270 beds

Job Responsibilities
Manage cardiology and electrophysiology patients
Conduct patient evaluations and follow-ups
Provide post-procedural care for:
Pacemaker & ICD implants
Loop recorders
Ablation procedures (AVN, SVT, AFlutter)
Collaborate with cardiology and interventional teams
👉 Note: APPs do not perform procedures but will manage patients pre/post intervention.

Patients per day: ~18
Patient Population: Adults (18–100)
Support Staff: Dedicated clinical team assigned

Interventional Cardiology: R/LHC, PCI, Balloon Angioplasty, Balloon Pump
Electrophysiology: Pacemakers, ICDs, Loop Recorders, Ablations
Qualifications
Board Certified NP or PA
Active Pennsylvania License
DEA Required
BLS & ACLS Certifications Required
Experience in:
Cardiology / Interventional Cardiology / Electrophysiology
⏱ Credentialing
Timeframe: ~90 days
