Exclusive Locum Cardiac Surgery NP opportunity! Provide 24-hour weekend coverage for urgent cardiac surgery patients at a Level I hospital. Assignment starts May 10 and is ongoing, covering 3 weekends per month. Manage patients from cath lab to surgery and ICU to home using EPIC EMR.
Job Responsibilities
• Assist in urgent surgeries and vein harvesting
• Manage patient rounding, orders, and discharge planning
• Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure accurate documentation in EPIC
Qualifications
• PA license required (or willing to obtain)
• DEA required
• Minimum 3 years recent NP experience
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
Working Hours
• Coverage: 3 weekends per month
• Average callback per day: 4 hours
