• We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locums opportunity in Cardiothoracic Surgery in Lebanon, PA.
• This is a hospital-based role focused on cardiac surgery patients, including urgent surgical cases and perioperative management.
• The provider will work closely with surgeons, supporting patients from ICU through recovery and discharge.
• This role is ideal for candidates seeking weekend-focused coverage with high-acuity exposure in a collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Respond to consults and urgent surgical cases.
• Assist with procedures such as vein harvesting (if skilled).
• Conduct rounding and manage patient progress from ICU to discharge.
• Collaborate with surgeons and care teams for coordinated patient care.
• Document all patient encounters using EPIC EMR system.
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania State License required.
• DEA certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant cardiothoracic or cardiac surgery experience required.
• Strong clinical and acute care skills.
Working Hours
• 3 weekends per month
• Shift: Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
• 24-hour call coverage
• Average 4 hours/day patient care including rounding

• Vein harvesting (preferred)
• Acute care and ICU exposure
• EMR (EPIC) proficiency
• Strong clinical decision-making and teamwork
