Cardiac Advanced Practice Provider - Cardiac Surgery - PRN - Piedmont Augusta
Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI) is recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Cardiac Surgery team at Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. This opportunity involves providing excellent patient care to our surgical patients. This is a PRN opportunity working shifts as needed.

Piedmont Heart Institute provides the full line of cardiovascular services with dedicated electrophysiology, transplant, advanced heart failure, critical care, interventional, surgical and research services.
Responsibilities:
In this position you will:

Round on post-op patients
- Provide office consults one day per week with a designated surgeon
- EVH and chest closure in the OR
- Thoracentesis and chest tube insertion and care
- Provide care to LVAD patients

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have 1-2 years of cardiac surgery/EVH experience.
Masters, Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification

Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
