Tacoma, WA:
M-F 3-4 days calls & a 1:4 weekend call. Hours are variable, but in general. M-F Schedule is mostly 0700-1500, but it is not shift work, some days may go beyond
Setting: Inpatient
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with pre and post operative patient evaluation and treatment
- OR First assist
- Coronary artery bypass and all valve surgeries
- Aortic reconstruction and aortic arch reconstruction
- Robotic assisted thoracic surgeries
- Endoscopic vein harvest
- Open radial artery harvest
- Minimally invasive valves
- VATS and DaVinci Robot Thoracic Procedures
- Thoracic and fore-gut procedures
Cases- 6-8 hearts/week, 9-12 thoracic/week
