Large hospital organization with a location in eastern Texas an hour west of Shreveport, LA is looking for an ACNP/PA to work in their Cardiac Observation Unit.
- Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Cardiology specialty similar to a hospitalist role in a hospital
- Group is expanding the COBS unit to allow 24/7 coverage
- Will join a team of 2 other NP/PA's currently
- Prefer Cardiology, Urgent Care, or Hospitalist experience, but don't want to turn away new grads with a passion and flexibility needed
- No set schedule as of now - must be willing to work days and nights as needed
- 8 hour shifts rotating
- 100% hospital based - no clinic
- Admit patients to COBS unit, consult patients that come from the ER, frequent contact with Hospitalist, etc
- Competitive salary based on experience, 2% quality bonus, sign on bonus, benefits, and more
- Ability to pick up shifts for additional pay
