Job description

Job description • Seeking a qualified NP, APRN a 15-week locum tenens assignment. • Provide addiction treatment services to new and existing patients. • Patient population: Ages 18–90, approximately 8–15 patients daily.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct MAT patient intakes and assessments. • Adjust medication dosages as needed. • Perform annual physical examinations. • Manage patients receiving methadone, buprenorphine, LAIB, and long-acting naltrexone. • Maintain accurate patient records in the SMART EMR system.

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts NP, APRN, or PA license. • Addiction medicine experience preferred. • Board certification preferred but not required. • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred but not required. • Suboxone X-waiver not required. • Relevant experience may substitute for fellowship training.

Working Hours

• Assignment: October 19, 2026 – January 31, 2027. • Duration: 15 weeks. • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM. • Patient Load: 8–15 patients per day.
