Job description
We are seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide comprehensive healthcare services for women throughout all stages of life. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, gynecologic, and primary care services while promoting patient education and wellness.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage patient care during labor and delivery and provide newborn care during the first 28 days of life.
• Counsel and educate patients on contraception, reproductive health, and family planning options.
• Educate patients on sexually transmitted disease (STD/STI) prevention, testing, and treatment.
• Perform preventive health screenings and routine examinations.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Master's Degree in Nurse-Midwifery (required).
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a Nurse Midwife.
• BLS Certification (required).
• Nurse-Midwife Certification (required).
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and patient education skills.
