Perm Mid Wife Opportunity in Findlay, OH!

ATC West Healthcare is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join its established women's health team supporting two outpatient OB/GYN locations in Findlay and Bluffton, Ohio. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity focused on providing comprehensive prenatal, delivery, postpartum, and outpatient gynecologic care in a collaborative environment with OB Hospitalist support.

Please note: This position is not accepting locum or locum-to-permanent candidates, and applicants must have a minimum of two years of CNM experience.

Dates/Schedule

Weekly Schedule

• Two 8-hour outpatient clinic days per week
• One 24-hour call day per week with OB Hospitalist support
• Weekend call: 1:4 rotation (Friday/Saturday)

Job Details & Responsibilities

The Certified Nurse Midwife will provide comprehensive women's healthcare services throughout all stages of pregnancy and beyond.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum care
• See outpatient OB/GYN patients in clinic
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Counsel and educate patients on women's health issues
• Perform diagnostic tests and procedures
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate ongoing care

Additional Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in caring for pregnant women throughout the perinatal period
• Utilize community resources and referral networks appropriately
• Address prenatal situations requiring specialized intervention
• Incorporate knowledge of:
  • Perinatal education programs
  • Diabetes management resources
  • Substance use treatment and support programs
• Work both independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
• Build strong patient relationships through empathy and effective communication

Required Skills & Qualifications

Required

• Board certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
• Active Ohio license or willingness to obtain one
• Minimum 2 years of Certified Nurse Midwife experience
• Experience with:
  • Perinatal education
  • Diabetes management
  • Substance use considerations in pregnancy
• Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
