We are seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in Vermont. This is a locum-to-permanent opportunity offering a combination of Women's Health/OB-GYN clinic responsibilities and call coverage.

Schedule & Call
- Full-time coverage
- Clinic hours vary, with 8:00 AM–5:00 PM provided as an example
- Call Rotation: 1:4
- Call Shifts: 8:00 PM–8:00 PM (24-hour coverage)
Practice Setting
- Women's Health and OB/GYN services
- Combination of clinic and call coverage
- EMR: Meditech
- Physician coverage available within the department
Clinical Responsibilities
The position involves Certified Nurse Midwife services within a Women's Health/OB-GYN department. Specific expectations regarding prenatal care, deliveries, postpartum care, gynecologic visits, and inpatient responsibilities should be confirmed with the facility.
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
- Active Vermont license required to proceed
- Appropriate CNM certification and credentials
- Comfortable with clinic and 24-hour call responsibilities
Credentialing & Orientation
- Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30–60 days for candidates with an active Vermont license
Ideal Candidate
An experienced Certified Nurse Midwife with an active Vermont license who is comfortable with a combination of Women's Health clinic coverage and a 1:4 call rotation. Candidates interested in transitioning from a locum assignment into a permanent position are encouraged to apply.
