Seeking a Board-Certified Midwife
Coverage Requested: ASAP - Ongoing
Multiple shifts per months Requested
Locum to permanent opportunity if desired
24 Hour In-House Coverage
500 Deliveries Per Year
Independently manage and provide full-scope midwifery care in our Inpatient comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services
Triage and care for emergent obstetric patients, working collaboratively with RNs and OB/GYNs
Qualifications
Active certification with AMCB
Current RN and APRN license in TX
Required: Texas Medicaid Number/Provider
Additional certifications in Obstetric Ultrasound, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, and/or Lactation consultation are preferred
Experience in managing intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in a hospital setting (2 yrs experience preferred)
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative OB/CNM practice
Value patient preferences/choice, shared decision making, and a holistic care approach
