Obstetric and Gynecologic Patients
Approximately 1,300-1,500 Births Annually
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide Full-Scope Midwifery Care
Provide Inpatient Coverage
Support Patients Throughout Labor and Delivery
Manage Intrapartum Care
Provide Postpartum Care
Manage OB Triage
Perform Well-Woman Gynecologic Exams Across the Lifespan
Provide Surgical First Assist
Clinical Environment / Support
Level III NICU Onsite
24-Hour In-House OB/GYN Support

Board Certified - Required
Active Texas License - Required
Active Texas DEA - Required
Minimum of 2 Years of Full-Scope Midwifery Experience - Required
Minimum of 2 Years of Recent First Assist Experience - Required
First Assist Experience Must Be Within the Previous 2 Years
Hospital-Based Intrapartum, Postpartum, and OB Triage Experience Preferred
