• Seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife for locum tenens coverage
• Position provides both inpatient and outpatient obstetric care
• Coverage includes labor & delivery, postpartum care, clinic services, and patient triage
• Approximately 1–2 deliveries per 24 hour period
• Approximately 1–2 clinic visits may be added during call shifts when there are no deliveries
• Approximately 10 labor beds and 14 postpartum beds
• Provider will work independently and manage assigned patients throughout the call period
• EPIC EMR is utilized
• Assignment is expected to last approximately 6 months
• Position provides both inpatient and outpatient obstetric care

Job Responsibilities
• Perform vaginal deliveries
• Assist with C sections
• Manage inductions of labor
• Triage patients presenting to Labor & Delivery
• Perform fetal scalp electrode (FSE) placement
• Perform intrauterine pressure catheter (IUPC) placement
• Repair Grade 1 & 2 vaginal and perineal lacerations
• Provide inpatient rounding and admissions
• Provide outpatient clinic care when requested during call shifts
• Respond to patient needs and clinical inquiries while on call
Qualifications
• Active Washington State license required at time of submission
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Recent obstetrics and/or gynecology clinical experience required
• Documentation of relevant OB/GYN services within the previous 24 months
• Experience with vaginal deliveries and labor management
• Ability to work independently
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
Working Hours
• Standard shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Approximately 2–3 call shifts per week
• Maximum of approximately 5 call shifts per pay period
• All scheduled shifts include call responsibility
