An excellent Locum Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) opportunity in Bellingham, Washington. This assignment offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive women's health and obstetric care in both hospital and clinic settings while working a flexible 24-hour call schedule.
Job Responsibilities
Perform vaginal deliveries and assist with C-sections as needed.
Conduct labor inductions, triage OB patients, and provide inpatient rounding and admissions.
Perform FSE and IUPC placement, along with first and second-degree perineal laceration repairs.
See clinic patients during call shifts when patient volume allows.
Document all patient encounters using Epic EMR.
Qualifications
Active Washington State license (required at the time of submission)
Current BLS or ACLS certification
Active DEA registration
Minimum of 1 year of experience
Recent OB/GYN clinical activity within the past 24 months meeting credentialing requirements
Working Hours
Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
Start Date: ASAP (Upon Credentialing)
Assignment Duration: Approximately 6 months
Skills
Vaginal delivery and C-section assisting experience
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently in both hospital and clinic settings
