Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Certified Midwife for a 9-month coverage assignment in Washington. This is a longer-term opportunity offering consistent scheduling, a manageable delivery volume, and the ability to work independently in a Labor & Delivery setting.

Job Responsibilities
Vaginal deliveries
Assist with C‑sections
Management of laboring patients
Inductions of labor
Triage of patients presenting to Labor & Delivery
Fetal Scalp Electrode (FSE) placement
Intrauterine Pressure Catheter (IUPC) placement
Repair of grade 1 and grade 2 perineal vaginal lacerations
Qualifications
Active Washington DEA (must be in hand at time of presentation)
Must provide documentation demonstrating provision of OB and/or GYN services within the previous 24 months, representative of the scope and complexity of requested privileges
Working Hours
Schedule: 3 × 12‑hour shifts
Blocked scheduling available
Average Volume: Approximately 1–2 deliveries per 24 hours
