Job description
We are partnering with a well-supported hospital in Florida seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) for a flexible locum assignment. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative, delivery-focused environment with strong OB backup and excellent support staff.
Schedule:
• 12-hour and 24-hour shifts available
o 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
o 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
o 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
• 3–6 inpatient call shifts per month
• No call outside scheduled shifts
• Start: May/June 2026
Practice Setting:
• Acute care hospital
• Collaborative OB/CNM practice
Facility Details:
• 6 LDRP rooms
• 12 postpartum rooms
• 2 dedicated C-section suites
• Level I NICU
• 24/7 anesthesia coverage
• EMR: Meditech
Work Details:
• CNM-led deliveries with OB/GYN backup on call
• Intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage care
• Surgical first assist required
Requirements:
• Board Certified CNM
• Florida license required (RN compact considered)
• DEA required
• 2+ years experience preferred
Preferred Certifications:
• NRP
• BLS (required by start date)
• Obstetric ultrasound
• Advanced fetal monitoring
• Lactation consultation
