Job description

Job description Nurse Midwives must have one year experience as a RN that includes at least six months experience as a midwife. They have advanced skills, knowledge, and training, and are credentialed to care for pregnant women from conception through the postpartum period. They deliver antepartum care in inpatient and outpatient setting, monitoring both mother and unborn child for any complications that arise and referring those with complex conditions. Manages care for expectant mother and fetus through the birthing process. Delivers initial stabilization of infant and mother during the post-delivery period.
