Our Medical Center located in Pennsylvania - 70 miles east of Pittsburgh - is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife for a position to join an established group of CNMs, OBGYNs and MFM physicians. New grads with RN Labor & Delivery experience will be considered, but experienced CNM preferred.
Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher from an accredited nurse midwifery program.
• Current certification as a Nurse Midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
• Active Pennsylvania nursing license or ability to obtain one.
• Valid Pennsylvania CNM license or ability to obtain one.
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
About the Hospital:
We are the flagship of the four-hospital Health System, is a 402-bed Level 1 teaching facility with a busy labor and delivery service and is home to a 16-bed NICU - the only Level III NICU between Pittsburgh and Harrisburg with a well established service area covering 12 counties. IT is a Primary Stroke Center, Level 1 Trauma Center, and STEMI-Receiving Center. In 2018, IT was the 2nd hospital in Pennsylvania to receive the HeartCARE Center of Excellence designation from the ACC.
