Clinic is looking for 1-2 experienced NP/PA midwives with hospital experience to provide backup call and see patients in clinic.
Job Responsibilities
Prenatal care including routine OB checks and management of normal pregnancies
Natural deliveries and emergency deliveries, in collaboration with the on-call physician
Postpartum care and patient education
Routine reproductive health care, including pelvic exams and Pap tests
Birth control counseling and contraceptive management
Provides care for all females ages
Full-scope women’s health services, excluding endoscopic procedures
Required Procedures: Assist with C Section with OBGYN
EMR: Meditech on hospital side, Centricity on birth center, eclinical on clinic side
Qualifications
OR license - [REQUIRED]
BLS, DEA, ACLS, NPR - [REQUIRED]
Working Hours
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p with weeknight call and 24 hour weekend call 1 week per month
Shifts per month: 10
