We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Midwife, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Suffolk County.
About the opportunity:
Schedule: M-F Full time
Location: Suffolk County
Setting: outpatient
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient histories, physical exams, and prescribe treatments within specialty scope.
- Provide on-call and hospital coverage as required.
- Perform deliveries per midwifery protocols.
- Lead quality assurance activities, including peer reviews and audits.
- Supervise nursing staff and review clinical protocols.
- Coordinate tests, referrals, and external care.
- Establish preventive care and screening standards; assist in program development.
- Adhere to OSHA and CDC infection control guidelines.
- Maintain accurate, legible documentation.
- Meet annual CME requirements and follow evidence-based protocols.
- Ensure safe, effective care while meeting productivity, quality, and patient satisfaction goals.
Requirements:
Master's degree with Certification by the American College of Nurse Midwifery to practice in New York State
OR Board Certified NP or PA license.
Work Related Experience: 1 year preferred
