Rates: $80/hr

Opportunity Highlights

• Consistent Schedule: Work Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM in the Outpatient Clinic. There is no call required for the clinic portion.

• Hybrid Role: In addition to outpatient clinic hours, this role includes providing in-house clinical coverage and leadership on the Labor & Delivery unit.

• Collaborative Environment: Work alongside OB/GYNs, RNs, LCSWs, health coaches, and other specialists, valuing shared decision-making and a holistic approach.

• EMR System: The clinic uses AthenaOutpatient for charting.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient Care: Independently manage full-scope midwifery care, including comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services in the clinic setting.

• Inpatient Support: Provide day-to-day expertise and leadership on Labor & Delivery, including in-house clinical coverage.

• Triage: Triage and care for emergent obstetric patients in collaboration with RNs and OB/GYNs.

• Quality Focus: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and attend skills training/drills for high-acuity events.

Provider Requirements

• Certification: Active certification with AMCB is required.

• Licensure: Must hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) and APRN license in Texas. The facility will not license new candidates.

• Experience: Experience managing intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in a hospital setting is preferred (2 years experience preferred).

• DEA: A DEA is required.

• Certifications: BLS certification is required by the start date. NRP, Obstetric Ultrasound, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, and/or Lactation consultation certifications are preferred.

• Background: Must have a Clean Background.

Start Date

• The target start date is November 10, 2025. The contract length is 13 weeks.
