Certified Nurse Midwife – Permanent Position
Location: Greater New Haven, Connecticut Area
Position Overview

• Join a well-established private OB/GYN group

• 8 OB/GYNs and 5 Midwives

• 5 modern satellite offices + 1 hospital location

• Weekly rotation through all offices

Job Responsibilities

• Full-scope CNM position (inpatient and outpatient)

• Inpatient obstetrical care

• Outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care

• Conduct medical histories, physical exams, Pap smears, breast, abdominal, and pelvic exams

• Prescribe contraceptives and insert contraceptive devices

• Admit, manage, and discharge patients

• Maintain accurate medical records (EPIC EMR)

Schedule & Call

• Rotating call and office schedule

• Office hours structured in sessions

• Sessions and call are proportional

• No late office hours

• Half-day on Thursdays or Fridays

Requirements

• Certified Nurse Midwife (National certification via the American Midwifery Certification Board)

• Minimum 2 years of post-training experience required

• Must obtain hospital privileges prior to start

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: Starting at $115,000/year, commensurate with experience
