The Opportunity
Join our team in Charleston, South Carolina, as an Anesthesia General specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in patient care. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant city known for its rich history and culture while providing top-notch anesthesia services.
Assignment Details
- Specialty: CRNA
- Location: Charleston, South Carolina
- Start Date: ASAC (90 days)
- Duration: Ongoing. Min 3 months.
- Schedule: Will need to rotate scheduling of 6 am to 7:30 pm and 8a to 9:30pm 0.5 hour unpaid lunch, including some weekend shifts. (13.5 hour shifts)
- Call Requirements: No Call
- Setting: Inpatient.The University Hospital operating area is the central receiving unit within a level-one, academic trauma center.
- Credentialing: 90 days
- EMR: EPIC.
Clinical Details
- Case Types: Medically Directed Cases: General Anesthesia, Neuro and Spine, Orthopedics, Oncology: ENT, GYN, Urology, No Blocks, No OB, No hearts.
- Cases: 3-5 per day The University Hospital operating area is the central receiving unit within a level-one, academic trauma center. There are 21- OR suites which cover all surgical specialties, to include Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, Robotics and Burns. interventional radiology suite. Other non-operating room sites covered include CT, MRI, Bronch, Neuro-angio and interventional radiology. There is a practice group of about 42 CRNAs in this group.
