Locums | CRNA | Reading, PA (Active PA license required) Why This Role

  • Full-time CRNA opportunity with a consistent 4-day workweek
  • No weekends, no call, and no holidays
  • Broad anesthesia case mix, including OB, pediatrics, neuro, and orthopedics
  • Long-term coverage through June 2027
  • Locums-to-perm potential
Assignment Details Start/end: ASAP – June 30, 2027 Schedule: 4 days/week, 7a–5p Shift structure: Four 10-hour scheduled shifts weekly; 30-minute unpaid lunch Commitment: Full-time only Coverage type: Scheduled Clinical Hours, No Call Weekends/holidays: None Setting: Inpatient surgical and procedural services Case volume: Approximately 3–4 patients/day Departments: General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics, L&D, Cath Lab, CV Lab, and Interventional Radiology Additional responsibilities: House-wide intubations Support: RN and office staff EMR: Epic Credentialing: 60–90 days; temporary privileges available Clinical Details Adult and pediatric general anesthesia Spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia Obstetric anesthesia and L&D coverage Neurosurgical anesthesia, including head and spine cases Complex vascular and orthopedic anesthesia Pain management techniques Postoperative epidurals and extremity blocks Cervical and lumbar epidural steroid injections Ventilation management Management of acute volume and blood pressure changes Central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placement House-wide airway management and intubations No open-heart or thoracic anesthesia required Requirements NBCRNA certification required Active Pennsylvania CRNA license required ACLS required BLS required PALS required Experience with adult and pediatric anesthesia Proficiency in obstetric, neurosurgical, vascular, and orthopedic anesthesia Strong regional anesthesia and invasive line placement skills Full-time availability for four shifts per week Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed per facility policy
