Locum - Anesthesiology - CRNA

Job Title: Locum - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Location: Wyandotte, Michigan

Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital is seeking two Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join its Anesthesiology team. This hospital-based role provides a rich environment for varied shifts in a Level III trauma setting. You'll have the opportunity to render anesthesia care for adult and geriatric surgical patients while working alongside supportive staff in a fully equipped facility.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia care in a hospital-based environment.
• Work within a supervised CRNA model.
• Administer anesthesia for general surgical cases, primarily for adult patients.
• Collaborate with a team of RNs and Surgical Techs in the operating room.
• Participate in weekend coverage as needed; weekend availability highly preferred.
• Manage care in a Level III trauma setting with 10 operating rooms.
• Ensure effective communication with medical staff regarding patient care and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Required
• Active Michigan License - Required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications - Required
• AANA Certification - Highly Preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR - Preferred
• 5+ years of experience in anesthesiology - Required
• Prior locum experience - Highly Preferred
• Clean malpractice and license history - Required
• Local provider status; mileage reimbursement applicable - Required

Licensure and Certification Requirements:

• Current Michigan nursing license.
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist certification.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications must be up to date.
