Job Title: Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum opportunity in a busy hospital setting in Flint, Michigan. This facility offers a supportive environment with a strong focus on patient care, featuring 16 operating rooms and an average of 35 surgical cases per day. The schedule requires 2-3 (10-12 hour) shifts per week with no on-call responsibilities. The practice is well-equipped with CERNER for electronic documentation. Job Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia for various surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and surgical staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Monitor patients throughout the surgical procedure and adjust anesthesia as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administration and patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current Michigan nursing license (no exceptions).
- NBCRNA certification (new graduates welcome).
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Clean background with no malpractice issues for expedited credentialing.
- Local providers (drive-in) preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Michigan nursing license (non-compact).
- NBCRNA certification.
- Current BLS (AHA) certification.
- Current ACLS (AHA) certification.
