CRNA Locums Needed | Kalamazoo, MI
Coverage Type: Locum Tenens | Start: November 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday
WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking a CRNA for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in a surgery center setting in Portage, Michigan. This is an independent CRNA role with a broad bread-and-butter surgical case mix and no anesthesia supervision.
Assignment Highlights
- November 2026 start
- Ongoing PRN coverage
- Monday–Friday schedule
- Surgery center setting
- 3 CRNAs on staff with no physician supervision
- Independent CRNA practice
- Paper charging
- Pediatric cases may be required, including tubes and tonsils. No pediatric patients under 2 years old
Case Mix
- ENT
- General Surgery
- Ophthalmology
- Orthopedics
- Podiatry
- Some Plastics
Regional Anesthesia
- No lumbar epidural catheters
- No spinal, axillary, or brachial blocks
- Other regional anesthesia may be negotiable based on experience and facility needs
Requirements
- CRNA certification
- Active Michigan license required
- Comfortable practicing independently
- Comfortable with the listed surgical case mix
- Must be comfortable with pediatric ENT cases for patients age 2 and older
