Advanced Practice (CRNA) - (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

Provide anesthesia coverage for general, orthopedics, trauma, plastics, neurosurgery, pediatrics (ages 5 and up), endoscopy, NORA, robotic surgery, gynecology, and ENT procedures
Assess, prepare, and manage patients for anesthesia care in the perioperative/procedural period
Develop and implement individualized anesthetic plans
Perform history and physical examinations and obtain informed consent
Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and post-operative assessments
Administer general, regional, epidural, spinal, and IV regional block anesthesia as well as Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC)
Perform invasive monitoring and placement including CVP/CVC, pulmonary artery catheterization, and intra-arterial lines
Manage airway as required
Full-time candidates only; shift options include 10-hour shifts (8:30 AM - 7:00 PM) or 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with 7:00 AM start on Thursdays)
No call requirement
Medical direction model with CRNA to anesthesiologist ratio of 2:1 or 3:1
Large academic hospital setting with other anesthesia providers on site
Minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience required
Active Pennsylvania license required
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
Board certification required
