CRNA Locums Needed | York/Hanover, PA

Coverage Type: Locum Tenens | Start Date: January 1, 2027

WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking a CRNA Locum for acute care hospital and surgical center coverage in the York/Hanover, Pennsylvania area. This is a full-time Monday–Friday opportunity for a CRNA comfortable working in a care-team model with both adult and pediatric patients.

Assignment Highlights

• Start Date: January 1, 2027
• Coverage Need: 1 FTE
• Estimated Commitment: Approximately 20 shifts per month
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Shift Options:
  • 8-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • 10-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Must have full-time Monday–Friday availability
• Must be willing to work both 8-hour and 10-hour shifts
• No call
• No overtime
• Care Model: Care team model; CRNAs will not work solo
• Typical Volume: Approximately 40–60 OR cases per day
• EMR: Epic
• Adult/Pediatric Mix: Approximately 75% adults / 25% pediatrics
• Pediatric Requirement: Must be comfortable caring for pediatric patients; no pediatric patients under age 13
• Concurrency: 3:1 or less, with a target of 3:1 during heavier volume and pediatric cases
  
• Geographic Requirement: Must live more than 40 miles from the facility, as the crow flies
  

Case Mix

CRNAs will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of surgical specialties, including:

• General surgery
• ENT
• Plastics
• Ophthalmology
• Retina
• Orthopedics
• Urology
• GYN
• Endoscopy

CRNAs may also perform lines, epidurals, and spinals when they have a documented history and experience performing these procedures.

Requirements

• BC/BE CRNA
• Active PA license preferred; candidates needing to obtain a PA license may be considered
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• ACLS
• BLS
• CPR
• PALS
• Pediatric experience/comfort required
• Must be comfortable working in a care-team model
• Must have full-time Monday–Friday availability
• Must be willing to work both 7a–3p and 7a–5p shifts
• Must reside outside the 40-mile geographic restriction
