Job description
OnCall Solutions is seeking a locum tenens CRNA for an acute care hospital in Southeastern Massachusetts. The hospital has busy surgical and obstetric services with a diverse, high-acuity case mix. You can choose weekday OR shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours, or 24-hour OB and hospital coverage shifts on weekdays and weekends. Scheduling begins once privileging is underway, and the assignment is ongoing based on the hospital's needs.
Job Responsibilities
Provide obstetric anesthesia during labor and delivery shifts
Support perioperative care from assessment through recovery handoff
Help manage high-acuity patients in the OR and OB
Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff
Keep anesthesia documentation accurate and complete
Qualifications
Active Massachusetts license, or eligible for one (candidates without a current MA license will have a longer onboarding process)
Must live at least 1.5 hours from the facility (no local candidates)
Clean file required for temporary privileges
Recent hospital-based surgical and obstetric anesthesia experience
Working Hours
OB and hospital coverage: 24-hour shifts, weekdays and weekends
Start date: flexible, after privileging (30–90 days; temporary privileges available)
Assignment length: ongoing
