Description
PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center in Ketchikan, Alaska is seeking a Board Certified CRNA for locum tenens coverage at a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital.
This opportunity offers a broad clinical case mix across general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, endoscopy, urology, ENT, pediatrics and regional anesthesia. The CRNA will work alongside physicians and other clinical providers in a collaborative hospital environment.

- Peripheral nerve blocks and regional anesthesia

Job Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia for general surgery cases
Support orthopedic procedures including total joints and arthroscopies
Provide anesthesia for endoscopy procedures
Perform anesthesia services for urology, ENT and gynecology procedures
Provide anesthesia for cesarean sections and other OB procedures
Provide pediatric anesthesia for dental, ENT and orthopedic cases
Provide labor epidural services
Perform peripheral nerve blocks
Participate in evening and weekend call
Support admissions and perioperative patient care
Collaborate with surgeons, hospitalists, emergency physicians and other anesthesia team members
Qualifications
Active Alaska CRNA license required
BLS required
NRP required
PALS required
ATLS required
Epic experience required
Comfortable with a broad range of adult and pediatric anesthesia cases
Recent clinical experience appropriate to the requested scope of practice
Working Hours
Monday–Friday
7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Call:
Evening and weekend call required. Current call coverage varies based on provider availability.
