Noor Locums is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Fortuna, California.
This is an inpatient hospital-based assignment combining scheduled clinical hours with 24-hour weekend call. The ideal candidate should be comfortable providing a broad range of anesthesia services, including orthopedic, pediatric, regional, and thoracic anesthesia.
Two providers are being considered for the upcoming coverage dates, with additional ongoing needs possible.
Assignment Highlights
- Inpatient hospital-based CRNA coverage
- 7:00 AM–3:00 PM scheduled clinical shifts
- 24-hour weekend beeper call
- Call response time: approximately 20–30 minutes
- Approximately 7–10 patients per shift
- Epic EMR
- Pediatric and adult anesthesia
- Orthopedic anesthesia experience
- Regional anesthesia experience
- Thoracic anesthesia experience
- Central line and arterial line placement experience
- Ongoing locum tenens opportunity
Job Responsibilities
Deliver general, regional, spinal, and other appropriate anesthesia services
Provide scheduled hospital coverage
Participate in 24-hour weekend beeper call
Respond to urgent anesthesia needs within the required response time
Provide anesthesia care for adult and pediatric patients
Support orthopedic, thoracic, and other surgical cases
Perform appropriate vascular access procedures when needed
Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team
Document patient care in the Epic EMR
Qualifications
Active California license
Board Certified or truly Board Eligible
Current DEA registration required
BLS certification required
Hospital-based anesthesia experience
Experience with adult and pediatric anesthesia
Experience with orthopedic anesthesia
Regional anesthesia experience
Thoracic anesthesia experience preferred/required based on case mix
Comfortable providing 24-hour call coverage
Clean professional history required for consideration for temporary privileges
Working Hours
7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Weekend Call:
24-hour beeper call
Current Dates of Need:
October 26–29, 2026: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
October 30–November 1, 2026: 24-hour call
Additional ongoing coverage may be available.
