Our client is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Eastern Arizona. This is a great opportunity for a CRNA looking for consistent weekday coverage with a broad mix of cases in a community hospital setting.
Job Responsibilities
Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and review relevant patient history prior to procedures
Develop and implement appropriate anesthesia plans based on patient and procedural needs
Administer and manage anesthesia throughout surgical procedures
Continuously monitor patients throughout anesthesia and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Provide post-anesthesia care and ensure safe transition to recovery
Work collaboratively with surgeons, nursing staff, and other members of the clinical team
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Participate in required weekday, weekend, and holiday call coverage
Respond to the facility when called back while providing off-site beeper call
Follow all facility policies, clinical protocols, and patient safety standards
Qualifications
Board Certified CRNA
Active ACLS
Active PALS
Clean malpractice and background history
Ability to provide consistent availability of at least 3 weeks per month
Must be comfortable participating in the required call and weekend rotation
Working Hours
Approximately 10–20 shifts per month
Must be available at least 3 weeks per month
Weekend rotation required
Call required
Off-site beeper call
Weekday call: 3:00 PM–7:00 AM
Weekend/holiday call: 24 hours
