Overview
A healthcare organization in Southern New Mexico is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an ongoing locum tenens assignment. This opportunity offers a combination of scheduled clinical coverage and beeper call for providers who are comfortable practicing independently across a variety of surgical cases.

Assignment Details
- Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- Contract: Ongoing
- Schedule: Scheduled clinical hours with required call, including weekends
- Call: Beeper call
- Response Time: Within 30 minutes
- Temporary Privileges: Available
- EMR: Cerner
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services across inpatient and outpatient surgical settings
- Independently assess, develop, and administer anesthesia care plans
- Perform regional anesthesia techniques, including ultrasound-guided blocks when appropriate
- Participate in required beeper call coverage, including weekends
- Deliver safe perioperative patient care and document encounters using Cerner
Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Board Certified
- Active New Mexico CRNA license
- Active New Mexico DEA registration
- Minimum of one year of CRNA experience
- Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
- Experience practicing independently
- Comfortable performing regional nerve blocks (case logs required)
- Providers must reside more than 90 miles from the facility
