Job Details

• Position: Locum Tenens CRNA
• Location: Fortuna, California 95540
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $8,320 - $8,770
• Assignment Length: Short-term need with ongoing dates available
• Start Date: September 28, 2026
• End Date: September 29, 2026, with additional scheduled coverage dates
• Schedule: Day shifts from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM on select dates, plus 24-hour weekend call coverage
• Call Coverage: 24-hour beeper call on select dates
• Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours per day
• Openings: 2
• Certification Requirement: BLS required
• Experience Requirement: At least 1 year of CRNA experience required

Job Requirements

• Active CRNA license with ability to obtain and maintain necessary privileges
• Board certified or board eligible
• DEA registration required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist experience
• Experience with general anesthesia for adults and pediatrics
• Proficiency in spinal anesthesia and regional anesthesia for surgery
• Ability to perform central line placement and arterial line placement
• Comfortable working in a hospital setting with call responsibilities
• Ability to provide clean, complete credentialing documentation in a timely manner

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases
• Support adult and pediatric patients undergoing general, regional, thoracic, and orthopedic procedures
• Perform central line and arterial line placement as needed
• Manage anesthesia plans for inpatient surgical cases
• Participate in scheduled day coverage and 24-hour call coverage as assigned
• Collaborate with the surgical and clinical teams to support efficient patient flow and excellent outcomes
• Maintain thorough documentation and uphold strong clinical standards throughout each shift
