A 7–3 day shift, diverse anesthesia cases, and the opportunity to use the skills you've worked hard to develop.
We are seeking an experienced CRNA for an anesthesia opportunity offering a diverse clinical practice with approximately 60 OR cases per week. The regular daytime schedule runs 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, with additional call responsibilities.
This position is best suited for a confident CRNA with strong spinal and epidural skills, as the ability to independently manage these cases is the facility's #1 clinical priority for call coverage.
You'll also have the opportunity to utilize your regional anesthesia skills, including interscalene, sciatic, adductor, TAP, and axillary blocks, while working in an Epic EMR environment.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
Administer and manage appropriate anesthesia based on the patient and procedure.
Perform spinal and epidural anesthesia independently.
Provide appropriate anesthesia management for surgical and procedural cases.
Perform regional anesthesia and peripheral nerve blocks as clinically indicated.
Blocks performed at the facility include:
Interscalene blocks
Sciatic blocks
Adductor blocks
TAP blocks
Axillary blocks
Provide appropriate airway management throughout the perioperative period.
Provide newborn respiratory and airway management when required.
Monitor patients continuously during anesthesia and respond appropriately to changes in clinical condition.
Manage anesthesia-related complications and emergency situations.
Provide appropriate post-anesthesia evaluation and transition of care.
Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and other members of the perioperative team.
Participate in the facility's independent call rotation.
Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation using Epic EMR.
Follow all facility anesthesia protocols, patient-safety standards, and credentialing requirements.
Qualifications
Current CRNA certification
Appropriate state licensure/authorization to practice
ACLS required
PALS required
NRP highly encouraged
Must be proficient in spinal and epidural anesthesia
Must possess the clinical experience necessary to take anesthesia call independently
Must be competent in newborn respiratory and airway management
Must be able to provide procedure logs documenting at least 10 epidurals within the previous 24 months
Must provide case/procedure logs demonstrating at least 50 patients within the previous 12 months
Must satisfy all facility credentialing and privileging requirements
Working Hours
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Call Shift: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekend Call: Friday at 3:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
Must possess the clinical skills necessary to take call independently

Proficiency with regional anesthesia
Experience performing peripheral nerve blocks

Ability to recognize and independently manage anesthesia-related complications
