Job Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for a range of surgical procedures including orthopedics, pediatrics, regional, and thoracic cases.
- Perform central and arterial line placements.
- Manage patients’ anesthesia care pre-operatively, intra-operatively, and post-operatively.
Qualifications
- Must have an active license and DEA.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Certification in BLS required.
- Ability to perform tasks related to the administration of general, spinal, and regional anesthesia.
Working Hours
- Guaranteed 8-hour shifts with defined start and end times; overnight call as specified.
- Coverage over weekends and specified weekdays required.
- Call duties include 24-hour availability.
Skills
- Competency in general and regional anesthesia techniques.
- Experience with pediatric and adult patients.
- Proficiency in central and arterial line placements.
- Strong interprofessional communication and teamwork abilities.
