Job description
We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens opportunity in Yakima, Washington. This is an opportunity to join an established anesthesia team at a 238-bed Level III Trauma Center with 13 anesthetizing sites and a diverse surgical case mix.
CRNAs work under 100% medical direction by anesthesiologists and support a broad range of surgical, procedural, and obstetric services.

Job Responsibilities
Deliver anesthesia services under the medical direction of anesthesiologists
Provide obstetric anesthesia services, including labor epidurals
Perform preoperative patient assessments
Develop and implement anesthesia plans
Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period
Manage intraoperative anesthesia care and postoperative recovery
Respond to urgent and emergent anesthesia needs
Participate in OR and OB call coverage
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and other members of the care team
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
Qualifications
Active Washington license
Current ACLS certification
Current PALS or ATLS certification
Strong clinical experience across a broad range of surgical cases
Comfortable providing obstetric anesthesia and labor epidurals
Must reside more than 50 miles from the assignment location

7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Remote On-Call
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM OB
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM OB
Weekend shifts may include:
7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
5:00 PM – 7:00 AM Remote On-Call

Call:
Weekdays: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM backup call for OR/OB
24-hour in-house OB coverage
Weekends: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM backup call for OR/OB
24-hour in-house OB coverage
