Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Weekly availability is required
- Preferred schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts per week
- Client prefers providers who do not rotate weeks on/weeks off
- May consider 3 x 12-hour shifts
- Saturday and Sunday availability is welcomed
- All time-off requests must be submitted upfront
Practice Setting
- Inpatient & Outpatient
- Level 1 Trauma Center
- 600 hospital beds
- EMR: Epic
Department Details
- 60 CRNAs
- 70 attending anesthesiologists
- 60 anesthesia residents
- Coverage includes:
- 33 main ORs
- 16 offsite anesthesia locations
- 12 outpatient surgery ORs
- 3–4 stand-alone GI center rooms
Patient Population
- Ages 13 through end of life
Cases/procedures CRNAs will NOT be performing:
- Open heart/thoracic
- Pediatrics
- Obstetrics
- Peripheral nerve blocks
Requirements
- Board Certification: Required
- Virginia License: Required
- Minimum Experience: 2 years
- Preferably academic background and level 1 or 2 trauma experience
- Will consider outpatient-only candidates but would prefer someone with recent experience in inpatient settings
- Experience regularly caring for ASA 3+ patients preferred
Certifications & Health Requirements
- BLS and ACLS must be current and completed through the AHA
- COVID and Flu vaccines

- Minimum: 30 days
