Seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for an ongoing Locum Tenens opportunity in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a high-acuity hospital setting with a broad case mix, including Level 1 Trauma, cardiac, neuro, thoracic, vascular, transplant, and pediatric cases.
Job Responsibilities
Manage a broad case mix: General, Ortho, ENT, Neuro, Trauma, Thoracic, Cardiac, Vascular, Urology, Transplant, EP, GI & Healthy Peds.
Handle complex cases, including craniotomies and open-heart procedures.
Work within a medically directed anesthesia care team.
Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams.
Document patient care in Epic EMR.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of CRNA experience required for presentation
Active Pennsylvania license required
RN compact license not accepted
BLS & ACLS required
PA Child Abuse clearance requirement
Must be able to independently manage the complete required case mix
Candidates previously employed W-2 by the health system within the past 5 years are not eligible
Working Hours
Preferred: 3 × 12-hour shifts
Available Shifts: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, plus 14- and 16-hour shifts
Flexibility: Mix and match shifts to reach required weekly hours
On-Call: No
Minimum Commitment: 2 days/week or 2 weeks/month
