Job Responsibilities
- OR CRNA will collaborate with the surgeon, and the healthcare team in providing a comprehensive pre-procedure evaluation
and administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Perform all aspects of airway management, including video laryngoscopy. Monitoring of patient’s vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary.
- Collaborate with surgeons and OR team to ensure patient safety and comfort. Access patient’s medical histories to develop tailored anesthesia plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding anesthesia procedures and post operative care. Review and revise anesthesia policies and procedures annually for approval.
Qualifications
· Graduate of an approved school of Nurse Anesthesia
· RN - active nurse licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky
· Valid Kentucky Board of Nursing APRN-CRNA license
· CRNA nurse experience: two (2) year preferred
· BLS Required
· ACLS with 30 days of hire & PALS within 90 days of hire date
