Locum CRNA – Charleston, South Carolina – 13-Hour Shifts - (DM)

Schedule: 13-hour shifts | Daytime & Evening Coverage

We are seeking experienced CRNAs for a locum tenens opportunity providing medically directed anesthesia services in a large academic hospital setting. The assignment offers guaranteed 13-hour shifts with coverage across a broad range of surgical specialties.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide medically directed anesthesia care.
• Manage approximately 3–5 cases per day.
• Provide general anesthesia services across multiple specialties.
• Case mix includes:
  • General Anesthesia
  • Neuro & Spine
  • Orthopedics
  • ENT
  • GYN
  • Urology
  • Oncology
• Provide coverage in operating rooms and select non-operating room locations.
• Non-operating room sites may include:
  • CT
  • MRI
  • Bronchoscopy
  • Neuro-Angio
  • Interventional Radiology
• Work primarily at the main hospital.
• Flexibility to work at nearby outpatient/ambulatory locations as scheduling needs require.
• Collaborate with an established anesthesia team of approximately 42 CRNAs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CRNA experience required.
• Active South Carolina license or license well in process.
• Must be proficient in Epic EMR.
• Prior locum/travel experience preferred.
• Must be flexible to work at the main hospital and nearby alternate locations as needed.
• Candidates must meet the required locum radius criteria.
• Academic medical center experience is not required.
• No OB, cardiac, or regional block experience required.

Working Hours

Shift Options:

• 6:00 AM–7:30 PM
• 8:00 AM–9:30 PM
• 13-hour shifts are guaranteed.
• 0.5-hour unpaid lunch.
• Schedule includes some weekend shifts.
• No overnight call required.
