Locum CRNA – South Carolina – Weekend Coverage Opportunity - (DM)

We are seeking experienced CRNAs for a locum tenens opportunity in Charleston, South Carolina. This is a medically directed practice providing anesthesia coverage across a broad range of surgical specialties in a Level I academic trauma center.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide medically directed anesthesia care.
• Manage approximately 3–5 cases per day.
• Provide coverage for general anesthesia and a variety of surgical specialties.
• Case mix includes:
  • General/Bread-and-Butter
  • Trauma
  • Transplant
  • Orthopedics
  • Neurology/Neurosurgery
  • ENT
  • GU/GYN
  • Robotics
  • Burns
  • Oncology
• Provide anesthesia coverage in operating rooms and select non-operating room locations.
• Non-operating room sites may include CT, MRI, Bronchoscopy, Neuro-Angio, and Interventional Radiology.
• Work at one location at a time, with flexibility to cover alternate nearby locations as needed.
• Collaborate with an established anesthesia team of approximately 42 CRNAs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CRNA experience required.
• Active South Carolina CRNA/advanced practice license required.
• Must be proficient in Epic EMR.
• Prior locum/travel experience preferred.
• Must be flexible to work at the main hospital and nearby outpatient/ambulatory locations as needed.
• Candidates must meet the required locum radius criteria.
• No OB, cardiac, or regional block experience is required for this assignment.

Working Hours

Weekend Schedule Option 1:
Friday, Saturday & Sunday

• Friday: 13.5 hours
• Saturday: 13.5 hours
• Sunday: 10.5 hours

Weekend Schedule Option 2:
Saturday, Sunday & Monday

• Saturday: 13.5 hours
• Sunday: 10.5 hours
• Monday: 13.5 hours
• 0.5-hour unpaid lunch included in applicable shifts.
• Must work the entire assigned weekend schedule.
• Coverage may include 11 out of 12 weekends for each 12-week assignment.
• Guaranteed hours are based on the assigned weekend schedule.
• No overnight call required.
