Take advantage of an exceptional locum tenens CRNA opportunity in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This assignment is ideal for experienced CRNAs seeking a high-acuity practice environment, diverse surgical case exposure, and the flexibility of a rewarding travel assignment.
Join a comprehensive anesthesia team supporting adult Level I Trauma, pediatric trauma, and complex surgical services. This opportunity offers extensive clinical variety, including independent anesthesia cases and team-based care, while allowing CRNAs to expand their expertise across multiple specialties.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage cases including General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, ENT, Plastics, CT, Neuro, Urology, EP, OMFS, Oncology, Dental, Vascular, Thoracic, and GI.
• Provide trauma, pediatric, OB, and complex surgical anesthesia coverage.
• Participate in call rotation and weekend coverage as required.
• Rotate across approved hospital locations based on staffing needs.
Qualifications
• Board Certified required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Active Florida license required.
• Must have pediatric anesthesia experience and willingness to perform pediatric cases.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required through the American Heart Association.
• Must have clean professional file.
Working Hours
• Minimum availability: 2 weeks per month.
• Schedule:
o Monday–Friday
o 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
o Five 8-hour shifts per week (schedule flexibility required).
• Call and weekend coverage required.
• CRNA call rotation: approximately one weekend every other month (Saturday & Sunday beeper call).
• No call responsibilities at designated location.
