Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time locum opportunity with a nationally recognized Level I Trauma Center in Virginia. This is an excellent long-term assignment with a supportive team, flexible time off, and the opportunity to become an integral part of the department.
Position Details
- Start Date: October (credentialing begins immediately)
- Contract Length: 6 months with the option to extend (6–12+ month assignments preferred)
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours guaranteed per week
- 8-hour and 10-hour shifts available
- Overtime available after scheduled shifts
- Continuous full-time coverage required (2 weeks on/2 weeks off schedules will not be considered)
Practice Setting
- Level I Trauma Center
- Medical direction model
- EMR: Epic
- Locum providers are granted the same privileges and autonomy as permanent CRNAs
Case Mix
- Neuro
- Orthopedics
- Trauma
- General Surgery
- GYN
- Endoscopy
- Pediatrics
- No Cardiac
- No OB
Requirements
- Board Certified CRNA
- Level I Trauma experience required
- Active Virginia license preferred (licensure candidates will be considered)
- Ability to commit to a full-time, long-term assignment
- Completion of the Carilion-specific skills checklist required
Job Responsibilities
Case Load- No Cardiac, and No OB.
Mainly Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, Gen surgery, GYN, Endoscopy, Peds
Locum CRNAs are treated the same as permanent providers and are granted the same permission.
