CRNA – North Caddo, LA
Peds dental anesthesia
📍 Location & Facility
Rural CAH in North Caddo, LA. Two ORs. Easygoing, collaborative team w/ MA, RN, dentist, and ER physician support as needed.
🩺 Role Overview
Independent CRNA model. Peds dental cases: extractions, fillings, caps. Mostly nasally intubated sedation; dentist support consistent.
👶 Patient Population
All peds, typically ages 2–12. Large Autism pt population. Must have 2+ yrs peds exp.
🗓 Schedule
8 shifts/mo. Mainly Mon/Fri, 6a–2:30/3p. ~12 cases/day split by 2 CRNAs; ~6 cases per CRNA/day.
💼 Support & Workflow
Dental support always present. Three peds dentists rotate weekly/daily. Gen surg + endo run Tues–Thurs.
🧾 EMR & Documentation
Cerner EMR; charting on paper. Nurses enter orders; CRNA verifies accuracy EOD.
✅ Requirements
- 2+ yrs peds exp required
- BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP
- DEA required
- LA license pref.; will license
💰 Compensation Details
- 8-hr paid guarantee
- Rate: $220/hr
- OT: $300/hr
