Skills

WHY THIS ROLE

WellSpan York is not a starter assignment. It is a fully staffed, well-run anesthesia department at a 593-bed regional medical center running a comprehensive subspecialty case mix. If you have cardiac, neuro, and spine in your regular practice and you want a structured full-time locums block with no call and no unpredictable schedule, this is the position worth evaluating seriously.

At $235/hr with no call and no overtime, the weekly take-home is straightforward and predictable. No stacking premiums, no guessing what a call week costs you. What you see is what you earn.

The weekday track gives you three-day weekends every week of your assignment. The weekend track gives you four consecutive days off. Both are genuinely livable schedules at a facility that does serious work.

York is a mid-sized city with real infrastructure, not a remote rural posting. Philadelphia is 90 minutes east, Baltimore 2 hours south. For a CRNA based anywhere in the mid-Atlantic or willing to relocate temporarily, this is a geographically accessible assignment with a schedule built around a life outside the hospital.

Eight positions are available. This is a significant need and qualified candidates who move promptly will have an advantage in scheduling and credentialing timing.
