CRNA – Hospital-Based Anesthesia Coverage – South Carolina

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum opportunity in South Carolina. This assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule, no call, and a diverse case mix within a collaborative anesthesia care team.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: September 2026
• 13-week assignment
• Full-time coverage

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• No call

Practice Setting

• Acute Care Hospital
• Operating Rooms
• Endoscopy Suite
• Outpatient Surgery Center
• Epic EMR

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical specialties, including:

• General Surgery
• Orthopedics
• Spine
• Gynecology
• Ophthalmology
• Plastic Surgery
• Gastroenterology
• Cardiovascular procedures
• MRI coverage as needed

Procedures

• General anesthesia
• Ventilation management
• Arterial line placement
• TEE/CV experience preferred

Patient Population

• Ages 12+
• Primarily adult patients

Coverage Model

• Medical-directed ACT model
• 4:1 CRNA-to-physician supervision ratio
• Collaborative anesthesia team

Requirements

• NBCRNA Certified
• Active South Carolina license
• Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA)
• DEA required
• Epic experience preferred
• Clean background required

Credentialing

• Approximately 60 days with an active South Carolina license
• Longer timeframe without an active license
