We are seeking a qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time locum tenens opportunity at an outpatient surgery center in Hanover, Pennsylvania. This assignment offers consistent weekday scheduling with no call responsibilities and the opportunity to provide anesthesia services across a variety of surgical specialties.

The ideal candidate will have experience providing anesthesia care for both pediatric and adult patients and be comfortable working in a collaborative anesthesia care model with a strong focus on orthopedic cases.

The facility provides anesthesia services for a wide range of procedures, including high-volume orthopedic cases. Providers work within a medical direction model with a 1:3 anesthesia care ratio.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for pediatric and adult surgical patients.
• Manage anesthesia services for outpatient procedures across multiple specialties.
• Support orthopedic surgical cases, including high-volume orthopedic procedures.
• Collaborate within a medical direction anesthesia care model.
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures.
• Ensure safe and effective anesthesia delivery according to patient needs.
• Utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation.
• Provide anesthesia coverage for approximately 6–15 patients per day based on room assignment.

Qualifications

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification required.
• Active Pennsylvania CRNA license required.
• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.
• Board certification as a CRNA required.
• Must be able to work full-time weekday coverage.
• Credentialing timeframe is typically 90 days, with possible expedited credentialing options.

Working Hours

• Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week
• Shift Length: 8-hour shifts
• Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch break
• Coverage: 40 hours per week
